REVIEW: MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm

Here I am again for another BB cream review :)
I stopped buying new sets of BB cream these days because aside from the fact that they are a bit expensive, I do not have time to finish them all. Some of them are still waiting to be opened.
Here's one of the BB creams that has been staying on my shelf for some time so I decided to open it last week. :)

My first ever MIZON BB Cream^_^

*It's a BB Cream :) 
*I think this is my first time to purchase and use a MIZON product. MIZON is a Korean Cosmetics and Skin Care brand in South Korea.
CONTENT: 50ml

PRICE: PhP 445 (from HAN RYU)
SHADE: Comes in one shade only.

Product Description: According to the packaging, this is a "multi-functional tinted cream, contains 45% of snail extract that provides a silky elastic texture". 
I've hears of snail cream, snail mucus and snail stuff that helps you with skin troubles. Well, as long as it will help me, I will never be grossed out with this.

If you are use with pumps, you might find this annoying. It's a bit messy and time-consuming because you have to clean it up before putting back the cap. 

THE TEST: 

Here's what MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm looks like.
It's has a 'water-y' consistency and this is so far the most 'water-y' BB cream that I've ever tried. 

SCENT: Not bad for a product with 'snail mucus' (I'm sorry, I did not mean to gross you out). Mild 'herbal-kind' of scent. The scent is not to irritating / strong and for me, this one smells good. 

APPLICATION: MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm is very easy to apply and it slides to your skin. 
Oh! This would really last for a long time because a few drops of MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm goes a LOOOOOOOOOONG way.

And just to show you the COVERAGE of MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm, here are some close-up photos of my face. 
I have some awful zits and acne scars. I also have large pores. But I have noticed that MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm somehow minimizes the redness of the acne and hides the acne scars. It does a good job on my pores too!

The BEFORE - AFTER: 
One thing that bothered me a bit was that I felt that this BB Cream was too light for me. 
But I've noticed that MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm blended well on my skin! 

MY VERDICT: 

1. Because of its consistency, MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. 

2. This is so far the 'lightest' BB Cream that I've ever tried. It's light on the skin and it feels natural. Unlike other BB cream or liquid foundation wherein you fell like you have a second layer of skin, you won't feel like your wearing one with MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm.

3. Though it comes with one shade, it easily blends on my skin color. 

4. Coverage: MEDIUM - HEAVY 

5. Oil Control: Not really that good because after 4 hours of wearing this, my face will be needing some blotting paper. 

6. Woah! MIZON Snail Repair Blemish Balm minimizes the redness of zits. Well, I think it's because of the 'snail mucus'? Maybe. 

7. I never experienced any skin irritation after using this product. Never had breakouts too. :) 

Will I buy this again?
YES! Definitely.
This is an addition to my growing must-have BB Creams.
